Biography

Dr Hui graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and received his specialist training of Paediatrics in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Hong Kong. In 2013-2014, he spent a year as research fellow in the Division of Nephrology of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA and the international visiting scholar in the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, participating in the prospective observational study “Chronic Kidney Disease in Children (CKiD)”. In 2021, he obtained the “D.H Chen Foundation Clinical Research Fellowship”. His areas of interest include paediatric critical care nephrology, acute kidney injury and extracorporeal blood purification technique. He is currently the principal investigator of a few studies related to acute kidney injury and critical care nephrology. He is now an Associate Consultant in the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital, and is appointed as the Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong
