  • Epidemiology of OSA in adolescents
  • Circadian regulation and cardiometabolic complications of OSA in children
  • Nasal and systemic inflammation, microbiome and metabolomics in children with sleep-disordered breathing
  • Non-invasive ventilation for childhood OSA
  • Treatment effect of adenotonsillectomy and prediction of treatment responses
  • Screening tools and anatomical markers of childhood OSA
  • Drug-induced sleep endoscopy for children with OSA
  • Sleep problems in young children

Opportunities to research students

  1. Overnight sleep study (polysomnography) training
    • Students interested in performing/analysing overnight sleep studies will be provided on-site training to prepare them to sit for the internationally offered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
  2. Biosignal analysis
  3. Exploration of biomarkers and mechanistic pathways of childhood sleep-disordered breathing and related morbidities
  4. Management approach to childhood sleep-disordered breathing
