The vacant positions are funded by ITC research Talent Hub programme. The candidate will execute research projects ranging from patient recruitment, laboratory works, clinical specimen processing, data analysis and manuscript publication. It will be an excellent opportunity for candidates considering a Research degree after graduation from your taught degree. We are running multiple inter-disciplinary projects with the same mission to improve children’s health.
Junior Research Assistant (HK$18,000 per month): BSc graduate
Research Assistant (HK$23,000 per month): BSc + 2 years experience or MPhil
Senior Research Assistant (HK$32,000 per month): MPhil + 2 years experience or PhD degree
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in science, biology, medical science or related disciplines, with laboratory experience in cell culture, virology, and/or immunology. They should be a self-motivated and organized team player. They should have a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and a hard-working attitude. Experience in processing primary cell culture, clinical samples, flow cytometry, RNA sequencing, biostatistics, and large datasets would be an advantage. The appointees will work in the laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Renee WY Chan to study paediatric respiratory infection, acute kidney injury and mucosal immunology.. The candidate may work in either Prince of Wales Hospital or the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital.
